How to mods for borderlands 2

I've heard of obtaining extra skill points in the Moxxi's Underdome dlc, so I thought perhaps he had completed the quest multiple times with friends on their hosts to obtain the extra points. I viewed them, picked them up, and received 4 extra skill points I technically shouldn't have.

Another player joined my game, and dropped 4 skill point sdu's or something of the sort. I have a level 61 soldier and created a match over xbox live this afternoon.
